Biography
Dr. Shelly graduated from T.N.Dr M.G.R Medical University Chennai, India, as a Bachelor of
Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) in 1999. He earned his M.D.S. (Master of Dental Surgery) in
Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences,
Bengaluru in 2012. Dr. Shelly is proficient and skillful in his field having 9 years of experience
(5 years in India and 3.5 years in U.A.E.). He has spent 3.5 years as a senior Lecturer in
Dept of Orthodontics at Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Kothamangalam, Kerala.
He is experienced and expert in Extra-Oral Orthopedics including Head Gears, Chin Cup and
Face Mask Therapy, Micro Implants, Pre-Surgical and Post-Surgical Fixed Orthodontic
Therapy, Functional Appliance using Activator, Frankels Twin Block, Habit Breaking
Appliance, Space Maintainers and Space Regainers, Functional Appliances-Expansion
Devices-Slow and Rapid. Removable Appliance Therapy including Hawley’s Appliance and
Springs, Interceptive Orthodontic Treatment, Fixed Appliance Therapy using Pre-Adjusted
Edgewise Appliances and Self-Ligating Bracket Systems, and clear aligners.
